The My Business tab is your home base. It shows the health of your own Google Business Profile alongside your review trends and rating history.

GBP Health Score

Your Google Business Profile health score (0–100) measures how complete and optimized your listing is. It checks:
  • Business name, address, phone number present
  • Website linked
  • Primary + secondary categories set
  • Business hours filled in
  • Recent photos uploaded
  • Description written
A score below 70 means Google is likely ranking competitors with more complete profiles above you for the same keyword, even if your ratings are better. The Rating momentum chart shows your rating over the past 90 days. A consistent upward trend signals healthy review velocity; a flat or declining trend means you need to focus on generating new reviews. Review velocity is the number of new reviews per week averaged over the last 30 days. Businesses in the top 25% of their category typically maintain 2–4 new reviews per week.

Linking your listing

If your listing isn’t linked yet, click Link my listing and search for your business. NearIQ stores your Google Place ID for:
  • Exact matching in rank tracker grid checks (not just name matching)
  • Monitoring your own reviews for sentiment analysis
  • Tracking your own rating changes and alerting you to drops

Owner response rate

The Owner response rate shows what percentage of reviews you’ve responded to. Google uses response rate as a local ranking signal. Aim for 100% response rate on all reviews, especially 1–3 star reviews.
