Content generation walkthrough

What you see: choose a content type, enter a campaign idea, generate a draft, review the result, and move between text, image, and video assets in the library.

Guided Content Studio tutorial

What you see: select Google Business Profile post ideas, type a campaign topic, generate the draft, copy it, open the refinement field, and submit feedback. The clip is muted and uses product-demo sample data only. Content Studio is NearIQ’s AI-powered content creation hub. It generates marketing assets — text, images, and video — using your business profile, competitive data, and local market context. Review generated content before publishing. The studio has three tabs: Text, Images, and Video.

Text generation

Content Studio generates eight types of structured text and data-ready content:
  • Landing page copy — locally optimized page sections
  • FAQ sections — question-and-answer pairs drawn from competitor and review data
  • Google Business Profile posts — ready-to-publish GBP updates
  • Social media drafts — platform-aware posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Review response templates — on-brand reply starters for positive and negative reviews
  • Blog outlines — topic structures with heading suggestions
  • Comparison tables — structured competitor comparison rows for pages or reports
  • Performance charts — chart-ready summaries from stored business and competitor data
Each generation uses your business name, category, location, competitor landscape, and review themes to produce relevant output. You can refine any draft with feedback to adjust tone, length, or emphasis. You can also paste a public source URL from your own site, offer page, menu, product page, or service page. NearIQ fetches bounded public page text, respects robots rules for the NearIQ content bot, strips scripts/styles, and uses the page as untrusted reference material rather than as instructions. This keeps the workflow fast for first drafts without letting a source page override NearIQ’s generation rules. Growth and higher plans can request batch variations from the same prompt. Each batch variation is generated with a distinct hook, framing, and call to action, and each variation reserves one normal content-generation unit. Batch output is shown as Option 1, Option 2, and so on so teams can compare drafts before refining a single version. When no explicit tone is selected, Content Studio uses your saved AI tone preference. Generated drafts also respect your preferred output language.

Image generation

Image generation uses style presets to route your prompt to the best-suited AI image model automatically. You choose a style and size; NearIQ handles the rendering pipeline.

Photorealistic presets (photoreal, food, product, interior, service, before/after, team, event, seasonal) are routed to a photorealistic AI image model. Text-heavy and graphic presets (menu board, social graphic, infographic) are routed to a model optimized for readable text rendering. Logo/text concepts use a typography-focused model. Custom prompts are auto-routed based on content analysis.

Tips

  • Be specific in your prompt: “modern gym interior with natural lighting and plants” beats “nice gym photo.”
  • Photorealistic presets avoid text overlays — use social graphic or menu board when you need readable words in the image.
  • Upload a reference image when you want image-to-image edits or brand-consistent variations. NearIQ sends the reference to the configured image model for that request only; the source upload is not saved unless you save the generated output.
  • Use Animate from the image library to pre-load a saved image as the starting frame for a video prompt without uploading it again.
  • Quick edit handles deterministic, no-AI image polish on the spot: resize, rotate, mirror, flip, grayscale, contrast, social aspect reframes, freeform crop, device mockups, format conversion, and text overlays with an optional CTA. These edits use local/server image transforms and do not make paid AI generation calls.
  • All generated images are drafts. Edit, crop, add text overlays, or add your logo before publishing.

Video generation

Video generation creates finished commercial source bundles with AI-generated visuals. You describe the concept, pick a style and duration, and NearIQ writes the script, generates one or more source shots, and returns provider-neutral render metadata.

Resolutions

720pFaster rendering and lower credit-risk iteration

How it works

  1. Enter a prompt — describe the video concept (up to 800 characters)
  2. Pick a style — the style shapes the visual direction and script tone
  3. Optionally upload a prompt image - image-to-video references are sent transiently to supported renderers for that request only
  4. Choose duration, aspect, resolution, voice, pitch, pace, and music - preview each provider-backed narration style before generating, select a built-in voice or saved voice profile, choose slow/normal/fast speech, adjust narration pitch, and pick an upbeat, calm, corporate, inspirational, or silent music bed
  5. Set audio timing and mix - optionally choose when narration and music start or stop inside the finished video, then adjust voice, music, and native source-audio levels
  6. Generate - NearIQ writes a script and generates the source shots needed for the selected commercial length
  7. Render final - pass the source bundle to the compositor for exact timing, full audio, overlays, and download
Silent or multi-shot renders can be passed to the composite endpoint for stitching, voiceover, background music, safe text overlays, final-duration normalization, and plan-required watermarking. Composite output costs 1 additional video credit only when a configured compositor returns a completed video. If compositing is not configured or fails, the source video is returned without deducting the extra credit unless the plan requires a watermark. When video composition is configured, it adds voiceover, generated background audio, timed text overlays, and multi-source stitching. Voice, speech pace, pitch, narration timing, music selection, music timing, and voice/music/native volume levels from the generator are carried into the final render, so users do not need to repair the audio manually after generation. Final rendering is asynchronous for longer commercials: the app keeps polling render status and saves the downloadable MP4 only after the job completes; extra credit is charged only after a completed MP4 is available. If requested premium audio is unavailable, the app shows an audio-unavailable error before starting the final render and does not charge the composite credit. Production renders reject synthetic or basic fallback audio instead of returning silent or low-quality final commercials. Voice previews and standalone commercial narration use /api/businesses/me/content/voice; background music uses /api/businesses/me/content/music; and the selector can load built-in, saved, and sanitized library voices without exposing provider identifiers. Agency and higher plans can save voice profiles from consented voice samples in Settings -> AI. Creating a saved voice does not spend video credits. When a saved voice is used in a finished composite video, the normal video/composite credit rules apply. If no voice is selected, the business default saved voice is used when available. Fifteen- and thirty-second commercials may use multiple provider source shots. The source generation prompt asks for continuous rendered motion instead of a slideshow or camera move over a still image. The final compositor output trims or pads to the selected duration so the script, CTA, and audio bed resolve before the asset ends. The multi-clip stitch flow lets the dashboard send selected generated clips to POST /api/businesses/me/video/composite-clips in a reviewed order. The route supports hard cuts or short fade transitions, expands saved source bundles, and returns either a finished MP4 or an async job token that is polled through the existing composite status endpoint. The normal composite credit rule still applies: 1 extra video credit is charged only after the compositor returns a completed output. Video captions/subtitles are generated from the saved video script or a reviewed script you provide. The captions endpoint returns timed cues and persists them with the video history row; if you choose burn-in, those cues are burned in through the composite endpoint as timed lower-third overlays. New captions spend 1 video credit, while reusing saved captions does not charge again.

Voice features

NearIQ includes voice input and output in the AI chat assistant:
  • Speech-to-text — tap the microphone in the chat widget to speak your question. Audio is transcribed in real time using an AI speech recognition model.
  • Text-to-speech — the assistant reads its response aloud. Useful when you are on the move or multitasking.
  • Saved voice profiles - Agency and higher plans can create consented saved voices for video narration. Plan limits are 1 for Agency, 2 for Enterprise, 3 for Scale, and 5 for Unlimited.
Voice features are available on Growth plans and higher.

Generation state

Longer generations (especially video) show a loading state while the output is prepared. All generated items — text, images, and video — are stored in your content history so you can revisit, download, and reuse them.

Best practices

  • Review generated content before publishing. Adjust tone and details for your brand.
  • Do not publish claims that are not true for your business.
  • Image and video outputs are AI-generated drafts — always add your own branding, logo, and final edits before going live.
  • Use refinement feedback on text generations to iterate toward the right voice without starting over.
