NearIQ offers six plans designed for solo operators, growing agencies, and large teams. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial so you can experience the full feature set before you’re charged. Below you’ll find a breakdown of each plan, how billing works, and how to manage your subscription.

Team & organization plans

All team plans include a shared competitor workspace with role-based access control. Each invited team member is covered by the team subscription — they don’t need a separate individual plan.

Free trial

Every plan includes a 7-day free trial. You won’t be charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel within those 7 days you pay nothing. Your trial includes:
  • Unlimited competitors tracked
  • Rating & review count tracking
  • Map view & opportunity zones
  • Alerts history & notifications
  • AI intelligence hub
A credit card is required to start your trial. If you cancel before the 7 days are up, your card is not charged and your NearIQ account remains accessible at the free trial tier for any remaining trial days.

How to upgrade

Open Settings → Billing

In the NearIQ app, click your account menu and select Billing & plan, or navigate directly to neariq.io/billing.

Choose a plan

Review the plan cards and click Upgrade (or Upgrade — first 7 days free if you’re on the free trial) on the plan you want.

Complete checkout via Stripe

You’ll be redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm. Once complete, your new plan activates immediately and you’re redirected back to NearIQ.
If you’re upgrading between paid plans, NearIQ applies the change in place — no Stripe checkout redirect is needed. Your billing period and prorated credit are handled automatically.

Managing your billing

Once you’re on a paid plan, a Manage billing button appears on the Billing page. Clicking it opens the Stripe customer portal where you can:
  • Update your payment method
  • Download past invoices
  • View your current billing period
  • Cancel your subscription
All billing changes take effect immediately in Stripe. Plan access changes (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) take effect according to the rules below.

Cancellation

When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. You won’t be billed again after that date. If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged. Any remaining trial days on your NearIQ account are preserved.

FAQ

At the end of your 7-day trial, your card is charged for the first billing period of the plan you selected. If you haven’t canceled by then, the subscription continues on a monthly basis. You’ll receive an email reminder before the trial expires.
Yes. Go to Settings → Billing, select the plan you want to switch to, and confirm. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep access to your current plan’s features until then.
Yes. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal (click Manage billing on the Billing page). Your subscription stays active through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
